Their history, their cuisine
The fruit of the association of 4 leading local winemakers – Cuilleron, Gerin, Villa and Villard – the Bistrot de Serine and its Vinothèque were created in 2007, in the heart of the Côte Rôtie and Condrieu vineyards, in Ampuis.
Régis has been in charge of the kitchens since the beginning of the adventure. The menu plays with seasonal produce in a contemporary bistronomic style.
Nathalie manages the Vinothèque, offering advice and the best bottles for the pleasure of visiting wine-lovers.
The wine list is phenomenal, with all the region’s winemakers represented alongside the finest vintages from other French wine-growing regions.
A historic meeting place for winegrowers and partners from all over the world during the Ampuis fair, this lively venue reflects the region’s spirit of hospitality and sharing.
Their food & wine pairing suggestion
Shellfish risotto, with a Condrieu Chérytage 2021
A delicate, creamy risotto. Shellfish in the form of mussels, cockles and razor clams add a touch of iodine. A few crunchies and sun-dried tomatoes to finish the dish.
Cuvée Chérytage 21 brings all the power and density of a great Condrieu and echoes the roundness of the risotto. The wine’s floral and citrus notes meld with the iodized delicacy of this dish.
